"Who" fans will also note that singer Cora Saint Bavier (Miriam-Teak Lee) is representing Trion, the homeworld of Fifth Doctor companion Vislor Turlough.

The Interstellar Song Contest goes a bit too hard on trying to be silly and fails to adequately contrast it with rushed drama that doesn't make an impact.
